My company applied for H1B (Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker under Change of Status) and it got picked up for processing. I want to understand if my Form I-129 gets approved before October 2019 (when the change of status occurs) and if I want to change job before October 2019. Can my next company request/apply for H1B transfer before my visa status change from F1 to H1b? Essentially, can H1B transfer be requested before H1B status kicks in? Quote Link to comment
