mp0516 Posted May 16, 2019 Report Share Posted May 16, 2019 Hi, I entered US on a valid H-1B visa and applied for H-1B extension before its expiry and it's pending till date. Meanwhile I filed my I-485 and got my EAD/AP approved. I would like to move to EAD and withdraw the pending H-1B application. The reason I want to move to EAD is, I'm already done with my I-485 interview and just waiting for my PD to become current. I will file form I-9 with my employer based on my EAD. Then what happens when I withdraw my H-1B? The pending AOS keeps me in status? Or do I have to exit and re-enter on AP? Thanks, Quote Link to comment
