My employer filled  I-140 and we are waiting for approval.   I am planning to do a minor correction on my parent name in my Indian passport . As per embassy, they will issue a new passport with this change and possible renewal.    

My question is - Is it ok to get a new passport (renewed with minor correction )  while I-140 is still under processing.
