EB2 to EB3 'Downgrade' ? Please help

Hello Friends,

Greetings to you all!

I have a India EB2 with PD of Dec 2009 (currently on EAD status). Since the EB3 PD has gone past EB2 recently,

1) For my case, is it advisable to 'downgrade' (not sure if that is the right term) to EB3 with the same employer?

2) If YES, then does this create any kind of 'red flag' as far as the uscis is concerned?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
