Visa2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Report Share Posted February 4, 2019 My husband is in 221g situation. We both applied for dropbox on 1/8. My visa got approved on 11th but he received a blue slip asking to come in person for interview. He was then asked to go to medical and get his reports submitted by Apollo Chennai for further approval and was issued white slip too. We confirmed that the reports are submitted on 1/29 but still not updates. I notice lot of people mentioning about contacting consulate. please provide any contact details so that I can contact right place. Any help regarding what to do next EXCEPT waiting patiently would really help us Link to comment
Attorney_15 Posted February 4, 2019 Report Share Posted February 4, 2019 In a 221g situation, there is unfortunately not a lot that can be done. If one has been instructed to get a medical done before a visa is issued, that medical report is generally reviewed by the consulate and then by the CDC in the United States. One can periodically follow up with the Consulate for more information but these sorts of situations can continue for unknown amounts of time. Link to comment
