H4 EAD application returned for invalid fee

We applied for H1b to H4 EAD conversion for my spouse. We sent both forms[i-539 & i-765] together. But the EAD form was rejected due to incorrect fee, while H4 application is still in progress. I have following questions, please help:

1) Do we need to submit a fresh i-765? If I need to submit fresh form, which sections needs new or additional detail?

2) How would I link the already in progress h4 [change of status] application with this new EAD application?

3) While I reapply what all documents need to be included?

H4 COS taking more than year for approval(depends on the service center) for normal processing. And H4 ead will be approved once H4 is approved. Better to go for H4 stamping in home country and apply H4 EAD after come back, it may take 3 -4 months for H4 ead approval.

Hello Siva_386,

I also applied i-539 and I-765 together, today my I-539 got rejected saying 'case was rejected because it was improperly filed ' EAD petition is accepted with out any issues. Could you please let me know how you got to know the reject reason for EAD.
