H1 Transfer

Hi ,

      My H1 got Approved recently(OPT to H1B).I am planning for H1B Transfer from company A to company B.But company B is asking me to join on receipt notice.Is this safe to join on receipt based on present condition's? or should i wait for wait for joining on Approval Notice. Can you please give me a suggestion on my present situation(Reasons for transfer was low pay can't continue working for wage i am getting).

Its always better do join after approval. But with premium processing unavailable, it may take months to get that decision.

If you are directly working with employer( no vendors no layers no implementation partners, with atleast level2 wage , proper documents like client letter, etc depending on your situation and if your background is Computer Science, then no reason to worry)

Thanks for response .Position what I get was through prime vendor to client  and Fulltime with Prime vendor.i am completely from computer science back ground ,wage level will be level 2 and client is providing the letter as well for long term bases .

Since you are from Computer back ground and client is ready to provide the client letter , a would suggest you to join on the receipt number if your client can not wait for your petition to approve. However there is a minimal risk here. Good luck.
