Company split within 180 days of I-140 approval EB1B

Hi All,

I applied GC through EB1B in Nov 2018. My I-140 got approved. The issue is that the parent company will be splitting into two in March/April 2019 which is within the 180 days period.

I have learned that I must repetition my i140 since the new company will be renamed. My queries are:

1. Am I expected to rewrite all my letters of recommendation because I am filing through a newly formed entity?

2. Is this considered a fresh case or can I keep my previously approved i-140 date?
