Palak Patel
Our parents are visiting us on Visitor visa (Multiple Entries expiring after 10 years) their valid i-94 is for 6 months. we would like them to stay over more than six months. Can they do that and get their i-94 renewed if they visit Canada or Mexico for a week and come back to USA? Link to comment

No body knows for sure. CBP/POE officer can overlook it one time without questions. Officer may very well find it very odd and ask questions and may very well send them back home with the visas cancelled. Again, visitor visas are for visitations. Link to comment
JoeF
Visitors going to a neighbouring country usually only get readmitted for the remainder of their original allowed time. This "flagpoling" (going abroad and coming right back, like turning around a flagpole) doesn't work. Link to comment
