My new employer has filed my H1 petition in the regular process (as premium processing is suspended by USCIS). While I am planning to join on the receipt notice, is it okay to keep my current employer uninformed (being on vacation) until I get a confirmation on my H1 transfer and temporarily have payroll running with both employers? It is not legal as you need a concurrent H1b for you to be able to work with two employers at a given time. If caught It can and will be seen as unauthorized employment. Link to comment
