H4 Travel while H1B transfer in progress

I recently accepted and offer with employer B and my H1B transfer has been initiated (waiting for the receipt number). We have a stamped VISA valid till July 2020 from employer A. Will my wife be able to travel for 4-6 weeks? I will not be travelling and would join employer B soon.

You guys can travel but while she is out of country if petition approved, you guys have to go for stamping with that new company details to return.

Just a follow up question - 

Considering the timeline for approvals in upwards of 4 months, I do not expect the approval to come in before she travels back to US from India. In that case can she enter just on the basis of VISA or will she needs the H1B submission receipt number (not the actual approval).

New H1-B Receipt is not considered @ port of entry until it is approved, so she can get back with existing visa on her passport and related documents of it.
