Transit visa for Dubai/UAE on return to USA

Me and my wife have US work visa stamped till 29-Apr-2019 on our Indian Passport. On return to the US from India , we have plans to tour Dubai and Abu Dhabi for next 3 days i.e. less than 96 hours .

Will we get transit visa on arrival as I have stamped US visa for next 5 months (I94 valid till Sept, 2020) and passport valid more than 6 months ?

I read on forums that visa on arrival is only when US visa is valid for at least 6 months
