Hi,

I had a few questions regarding H4 dependent visa. I am about to get married in December and was planning to bring my spouse on an H-4 visa. Could you please help me understand which would be the best way to bring her.

1. She already has an H-1B visa with her previous company which is currently expired on Oct 2017, We can apply for a job in US and if selected can she come on an H-1B visa once it is renewed and transferred.
2. If she comes to US on a H-4 visa and tries to get a job can she use the previous H-1B again or does she need to go back to lottery.
3. If she completes her master after coming to US then does she have to again apply for H-1 in the lottery or will the previous h-1 still be valid and subject to renewal.

Could you please help me in understanding the above process.
