I am married in India and divorced in USA wife and me both are indian citizens.will the divorce be valid in India ?

I am here in usa from last 5 year and my wife is from last 4 years. 
we are married 6 years ago in india and she is dependent on me and we have a child born in usa. 
i am on h1b visa. and she is on h4-ead. 
i heard we can divorce in usa since we have been living here in the same state from 3 years. 

my question is , will this divorce applicable in India too or should we reapply again and go through court proceedings in India again ?
