Join new employer with Receipt Number

Hi,

 

I joined new employer with H1B receipt number. 

 

Once I received my approval, the petition start date on I-797 is 10 days later than the day I joined. 

 

Is it a problem?

 

No discontinuity in employment and always on Payroll.

You should be fine as long your i-94 from your previous employer was valid.
