B2 Visa rejected tfor Dad - I am on F1- CPT

My fathers visa got rejected today. Here is the line of questioning.

1) Personal information about my father, job etc.

Answered everything.

2) What does your son do?

He is studying Masters in Campbellsville Univ, and is on CPT working in a company in California.

3) The Univ is in Kentucky and your son is in California, How does it work out for him.

It is a Hybrid course and he travels for classes.

- Sorry we cannot issue your visa today.

How do we proceed in this scenario? Can we re-apply again? I am on valid status (F1-CPT) working in California and the university main campus is in Kentucky, But they have Hybrid Classes.

Well something didn't sit well with the CO. They have access to your visa status, and your past PhD enrollment, and confusion about your Masters could've been enough to give them pause and deny his b2.
