I am scared of the new change in policy where they can put you in the deportation proceeding if you are out of status. As the normal processing will take more than 60 days and I will be out of the grace period. a. Got Laid off on H1b from the Last employer: 07/05/2018 b. New Company send the H1b transfer application 07/13/2018 c. Joined the new company 07/16/2018 Extra Information 1. My Last employer's petition/ I 194 was valid till 2020 2. I have an approved I 140 3. My Wife is on H1b, so a change of Status is possible 4. Receipt notice has not been received yet Link to comment
