H1 to F2

Hi,

Iam planning to apply  for - F2 visa , currently my h1b denied and i refiled in consular processing and waiting on my decision. 

I lived in us for 12 yrs and this is my third extension on I-140.

Also will my 1-140 will be revoked if i apply for f2?

The F2 doesn't allow immigration intent. With an I-140, you have shown immigration intent, though, so  it is unlikely you would get an F2.

@sndpk Sorry to hear about your case. 

Your best bet is to find an employer/petitioner who will file a new H1-B petition for you. If you are in the U.S. with valid I-94 request your current employer to file a fresh petition with solid documentation learning from your previous case.

Why USCIS denied your H1-B extension petition what was the RFE/denial reason?

Not in us right now in India, denial because of specialty occupation.

I re-filed in consular processing with all the necessary documentation and waiting for the decision ,have to see .

I am trying to find the options if it gets denied.
