I am the GOD father for my cousin's daughter (Age:10), so they asked me being on H1, can I adopt their daughter to join her in u.s school & continue with college education ? In practice, this means that U.S. nonimmigrant visa holders cannot adopt overseas and immediately bring the child back to the United States on a nonimmigrant visa of the same classification as that of the adoptive parent(s)."
