vjy83 Posted June 30, 2018 Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 Hello Friends, I am on H1B for company X . Company 'Y' filed an H1b petition on premium processing. we got RFE and it was responded back. I checked the status of the petition in 2 portals and seeing 2 different status. Portal 1 : https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ - Here I see the status as : on June 27th we approved the case and the 15-day premium processing clock is stopped. Portal 2 : https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do - Here I see the status as : the response to RFE is received on June 21 and Vermont center is working on it. Question 1 : Can I rely on the status from the portal https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov as the petition is approved and join Company 'Y' ? Question 2 : Why does the status is different in each portal, even both are USCIS authorized portals? How much time will take to update the status in second portal ? Please advise. NotAnAttorney Posted July 3, 2018 Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 My case status was stuck as received even after I received the hard copies of approval notices ( Portal 2). But when I checked in Portal 1 it says its approved. With this as an example, you will soon be receiving hard copies of approval notices and go ahead with joining the employer. Link to comment
jeevinsanju Posted July 3, 2018 Report Share Posted July 3, 2018 Portal 1 is mostly up to date as per what I've read. Anyways you would have received copy of your approval by now or have atleast seen the approval email sent by your attorney, since this is premium processing. Hope you made a wise choice.
