Madhuri99
Hi, I received my H1B approval notice in September 2017 and I noticed that the petitioner and Beneficiary name are given as my Name in I-797. I will be travelling to India in August and will be attending my first Visa interview for H1B stamping. Please help in letting me know how it effects the interview and also what are the necessary steps to take. Thank you Link to comment
nik125
check with your company attorney. Usually petitioner name should be employer name and not yours. it can create problem if in main system data are inaccurate. can create 221G in my opinion. Link to comment
Tjgarla
this can be corrected by the USCIS easily. Ask your employer to contact the attorney to get this updated. If your case was processed in Premium it will be updated in 2 days. Link to comment
Madhuri99
Thank you for the response. My company lawyer said that it will not be a problem as the main USCIS system(PIMS) will be having the Petitioner Name and all US consular posts can access that information. Further, I asked her to provide me all the supporting documents to attend the interview. Link to comment
