f1 suspension

Hello

Due to plagiarism, I might get suspended from my university for a term. The next term would start within 5 months, so I would like to know whether I would need a new visa. My visa would still be valid for two more years, so can I come back and finish the degree on the same visa? 

I think the I20 would be terminated and generated again when I gain readmission after a term, so if I leave and come back would that need a new visa for new I20?
