helpneed2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Report Share Posted April 22, 2018 Currently I am on L1 B for Employer A (visa valid till jan 2019) In 2017 employer B has filled H1b for me and it was approved on nov 2017. Right now I am still continuing with Employer A. Employer B is not ready to hire me on to his payroll. Can i use the approved petition filed by Employer B to convert my current L1B status to H1 B with employer A ? Link to comment
JoeF Posted April 23, 2018 Report Share Posted April 23, 2018 Was that H1 approved as COS or with Consular Notification? If it was COS, you are on H1 and would be working illegally if you don't work for the H1 employer. Link to comment
helpneed2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2018 It’s a consular notification .employer B hasn’t applied for COS. Also my I-94 shows a L1. so can I use the the approved Petetion to transfer to another employer ? Link to comment
