H1B to L1A - For Green Card Filling

Hi Experts,

This is regarding H1B visa conversion to L1A. I am currently working in Company A  on H1B (H1B Validity Oct 2013 - Oct 2019). Company A has initiated my GC Processing .. Labor is approved. ( in EB2) . I am planning to move to L1A so that my company will reinitiate the GC in EB1. 

Questions

1. Can my Employer apply for L1A for me ?, If my GC processing is going on ..( Is it Legal to do so ? )

2. How it can possible to get L1A from H1B ( Need Step by Step Procedure Help). 

3. How much time will it take ( in terms of Month) to convert from L1A to H1B?

For an L1, you have to have worked for the company abroad for a year in the last 3 years. Have you?
