Hi,

   My STEM Extension expires on June 14th 2018.

   My F1 visa Expires on Dec 1st 2018.

 

   My PERM (ETA 9089) was filed on Dec 15th 2017.  (EB-3 Category)

 

Now seeing the timelines and considering the delay of processing, my employer is filing H1b Premium Processing for me just to avoid any gaps with the status. For H1b premium we will receive the decision and predict my back-up options once my OPT EAD Expired.

 

I want to know if it is problematic to file H1b while Green Card Process started.
