Dependent on I-140 establishes immigration intent?

I'm Canadian citizen (naturalized citizen indian born) on TN status in USA with my wife currently on H1B status (Indian Citizen).

My wife's employer is applying for her green card, her PERM got approved and is ready for 1-140 petition. I just want to make sure that being a dependent on her case (I 140 petition) would not jeopardize my TN status or cause any issues while renewing my TN status. I want to remain on TN status since it is a better option for me.

Does adding my name to her application establishes of dual intent for me, in which case it would be hard for my TN renewal.
