Prabhu K
Hi, I got DUI in 2016 July and was convicted when I was on F1-OPT visa. I got an email right after 4 days saying your visa will be void when I leave USA. Now I just got my H1B approved this week. Is it safe to go to India for stamping. If not what would be the risks. Thanks a lot in advance for your opinions. Link to comment
deep4228
Avoid it if you can. If you need to travel you to plan 4-6 week time for VISA stamping. You will be asked to go for Doctor Examination and they will put visa stamping in Administration process for 4-6 weeks. Please carry all Court Documents, fine paid, Community service done etc Link to comment

H1dui512
Hello, I got arrested on 5/12/2018. I did not leave the country. I and my wife have valid stamping from my previous visit. My son is us citizen. However I changed my employer after that. Now, my family is in India and need to travel. Can they travel? If they need to go for stamping will they be denied? I am really worried and very much stressed because of this situation. I know I did a stupid mistake and deeply regret doing it. Can someone shed light? Link to comment
