Cancelling the duplicate H4 and H$-EAD applications filed

Guys,

I have filed H4 and H4B EAD applications for my wife and sent the packet to USCIS and later realized the checks enclosed in the packer are filled with  inaccurate amount information. I have called the bank and cancelled the checks and re applied with proper information and sent a new packet to USCIS for renewing h4 and H4-EAD applications.

 

I came to know that USCIS was able to process the cancelled checks and also processed the new packet sent for renewal purposes and sent 2 receipt numbers for H4  and 2 receipt numbers for H4 EAD applications

 

Now I am trying to cancel the 2 receipt numbers (H4 and H4-EAD) I have received after filing the first application(Inaccurate checks application) so that new application filed will be processed by USCIS.

Here are my questions:

                           1. Where to send the cancellation letter?

                           2. Can we type the letter or does it need to be a hand written copy and signed.

                          3. Can i request for refund from USCIS for application i am request them to cancel

                          

  Attached is the sample letter can you help will that suffice

 

The Applications are processed by Vermont Service Center.
