DONT GO!

Currently visa processing systems are having delays in printing visas which is a global issue and we are stuck without an update. Lawyers say this could take up-to months to get resolved. Our visas were approved but since they cannot print it on the passport, we cannot fly back to USA. Bad thing is they have not mentioned about it on any of the websites or there are no press releases regarding this issue.. check out us Embassy of Zimbabwe - they are the only one who have put an update on their website regarding the delays.

It’s global issue so all the US Embassies are having this issue. It’s surprising that they are accepting applications.. and not mentioning about this issue before hand - if you google, issues like these have occurred in the past and have taken upto months to resolve. If you can, reschedule for later time. You can email the Embassy where you have appointment and ask them for refund if you have already paid your fees. Check our U.S. Embassy of Zimbabwe “news” section

Please don't post lies and scare the people. If you are not sure, then we advise not to misguide others. I have personally seen visa/passports getting delivered with in 1-2 weeks of interviews in the first 2 weeks of December. Few people were called for interviews even though they used drop box.
