EB3 interview/ moving case to AAO

Hello,

we have an EB3 file with PD December 14,2006 and we recently received a letter that our case was moved to your local AAO Washington DC office as per standard processing.

We have the following two questions :

1. We live in NY and didn’t understand that why it would be W DC office.

2. Does anybody else has any case like this and knows what is the next step after this.

We are aware that the PD is approaching close according to the Visa bulletin.

We would appreciate if anybody can provide any directions or clarification on this.
