H1B stamping experience on Oct 31st 2016 in Hyderabad

Hi Everyone

Here is my h1b stamping experience in hyderabad on 31st oct 2016

OFC:

I have scheduled OFC (finger print) application on 30th sunday OCT 2016 at 1.00pm in Hyderabad(OFC will be open from 1pm to 4pm on sunday) and complete finger process.

Consulate:

I have an appointment at 12pm on 31st monday 2016. below are the question by Visa officer.

1. Whats your company name?
2. How long are you with this company?
3. Whats your designation?
4. Whats your salary?
5. Did u study in usa?
6. R u in usa for atleast a 1 month without enrolling in college and seeking H1B?

VO: Your visa is approved and it will take bit longer than usual to get ready.

Not asked for single document, not even I797, he just took passport. My Interview is max 30 seconds.

Online status of my visa application changed as followed.

On 30th Oct Sunday before OFC: No Status

On 30th Oct Sunday after OFC: Ready

On 31st Oct Monday after visa interview: Admin Processing 

On 03rd Nov Thursday around 4pm: Issued

On 04th Nov Friday around 1.30pm: I received an email saying My Passport is Ready for Pickup.

Tips: 

Carry all documents as possible.

Be confident and answer clearly.

Thank you for the Post, @ Ajaykumar. I got my 4th H1B extension approved yesterday. I need to travel to India Hyderabad this month. My employer suggested me to wait for 1 or 2 months before going for stamping, so that Kentucky database is updated with my case (PIMS verification) just in case its not updated there is a risk of getting 221G. 

How long did you wait after getting visa before going for stamping?

Hi Kalyan,

I went to stamping after 13 months of intial approval and 5 months of my amendmemt approval. as your employer said PIMS database will contain our information, but i am not sure how long will take that PIMS to get updated. Because i saw lot of people attended h1b interview and approvals on same day i attended on 31st oct. those people got their h1 approved recently and start date is 10/01/2016.

I suggest take more suggestions from people and better talk to attorney of your company who will complete the paper work.
