H1-B amendment or H1-B transfer

Hi,

Here is my situation:

I have H1B approval from company A. 

4 months ago, company A created a new entity with company B. This new entity has a new tax ID. My job location is still the same, but I get paid by this new entity. Basically, there is a change in ownership.

My questions are: Am I still in status? do I need to file for H1B amendement or H1B transfer? If yes, which one is it?
