ArjunReddy9
Hi All, I have few domains which recently have started yielding around $150 a month revenue on clicks and I am soon about to reach the $600 mark. I previously reached that amount in 2008 when I was on F1 and the parking company would not pay me until I sent W9 form to them and I did not send them that thinking I was not eligible to earn that money on F1. Now same scenario on H1B, can I send them W9? Is it legal for me to earn the parking money on H1B? Please advise. Link to comment
JoeF
That is work, and you can't do that on H1 (and neither on F1.) Not the W9 is the problem, but the fact of running this side business. You need to shut these websites down, or at least take the ads down. Link to comment

JoeF
Thanks Joe.. Can my wife who is on H4 EAD do this instead? Not if you tell her to. The act of instructing her to do this would already be work. In other words, your wife can not act as your surrogate. Link to comment

JoeF
Yes. Not if she is just the front person. Link to comment
ArjunReddy9
Thanks Rahul and Joe. I will be transferring all the domain names to her name.. nothing will be on my name so I guess that way it will be her work whatever she does with them. That should be fine right? Link to comment
