H1 Stamping in Canada

Hi All,

 

Needed some info on the visa stamping in Canada. I am planning to go to Canada for my H1 visa stamping. I had previously stamped in Toronto and I know they take on a average 4 days to get back the passport.

 

I am checking how many days it takes in Ottawa, Montreal or Qubec city. Has anyone recently got there passport stamped from the above cities, can you please share your experience.

I recently stamped in Ottawa (4th in Ottawa itself), got passport on 5th day (Day-1 stamping). I had my interview on Monday and there were no updates until Thursday but was able to collect passport on Friday.

I had my h1 b interview or Ottawa on May 26 and at my visa was approved at the interview and in DS 160 it still shows administration process. How long would it take to update the status in DS 160. Any one had similar situation ?
