Ghani_reddy
I have H1B petition approved in 2014 with Client A Later I have changed to client B in the same MSA area (less than 25 miles). My employer did not apply for ammendment because he said we do not need to apply ammendment if we change the client in same MSA. Would this create any problem for stamping? I am planning to go to Hyd in Jan 2016 Pleasr share your thoughts Link to comment
bigZ
@Ghani_reddy - I am exactly in the same boat as you are. The particular rule for MSA is kind of edgy. You may or may not get into trouble (when I say trouble it is most likely getting 221g). I am planning to avoid a trip just for this reason. I would personally suggest to amend your H1B with premium processing before you go. Some immigration lawyers might suggest you not to amend and some would suggest you to amend your H1B but it all depends how visa officer sees it. Good Luck! Link to comment
Teja90
File a new LCA and this shouldn't be a problem. All the best!! Link to comment
F1struggle
I believe same MSA does not need amendment; but client change would require an amendment... Link to comment
