danga
hello, Since my H1 expired, I applied for B2- change of status from US and the B2 is approved now. I did not leave the country from last year. I am never out of status. My spouse also got an H1b extension approved and I would like to apply for H4 visa. Also I am plaaning to do masters next year and I will apply for (Student Visa). Which will be best scenario for me. 1) apply for H4 visa as a change of status staying in USA and then again apply for student visa as a change of status without leaving the country. 2) go to India for H4 visa interview and then for stamping for Student visa 3) any other better option. Please help. Link to comment

JoeF
Thanks Jairichi. just to confirm that applying for H4 COS without stamping b2 is valid. Sure it is. The visa stamp is an entry document, it has no meaning while in the US. Link to comment
