MyProfile4
Hello everyone, My current H1B visa which I got stamped last year in Jamaica is valid till September 30, 2015 (end of this month). I applied for my H1B extension and got approved for 3 years. Now i'm planning to go to stamping again either in Canada or Mexico. My questions are: 1. Can I go for H1B visa stamping before my current H1B visa expires (expires on September 30, 2015)? 2. If my visa is approved can I come back before Oct 1st,2015 (Start date of renewal I-797 extension )? 3. If my visa is approved then i think they will cancel my current visa with "CANCELED WITHOUT PREJUDICE" stamp on it. Since the start date on my new I-797 is 10/1/2015 can I continue to work before that date? Link to comment
