axbycz3
Hi, I have my I140 approved now with my current employer and have another offer with a different employer and would want to take it. my employer is fine with me going away and current employer promised me that he would not revoke my h1b. so if i moved to a new employer and after 6 months dates are current or if there are any new rules for I140 EAD, Can they still apply for EAD for me at the end of day. will it affect my gc process as it is future based employment. Thanks Link to comment
jairichi
You need to file for EAD and not your employer. Link to comment
Attorney_15
Whether you may or may not be able to benefit from a new rule about EADs and I140s is very theoretical. You really should proceed based on what the law is (there isn't even an officially proposed rule). Link to comment
