Extended H1B Stamping - Drop Box Waiver program eligible?

Hi team,

 

I am on H1B visa and my visa stamp expires by oct 2015 and i already got an extension based on approved I-140 last year when i switched to new company. The approved I-797 shows the expiration till Aug 2017.

 

The last time when i got stamped with old company was back in Dec 2013 through drop box visa interview waiver program, Now I am planning to visit india in Jan 2015 so would like to know if I am eligible for the drop box waiver program. 

 

I have gone through the requirements on US travel docs and believe that i should be qualified for drop box visa interview waiver program and the reason being I am going for the same visa class (H1B) and got stamped in INDIA last two times back in Mar 2011 (personal interview) and Dec 2013 (drop box visa interview waiver program).

 

Only doubt was since i changed the company, do i need to go for personal interview?

 

Can anyone let me know if i qualify for drop box interview waiver program based on the notes above?

Change of employers is no more a limitation to be eligible for dropbox. You are eligible for dropbox.

Yes you are qualify for it, even you have chanegd the employer

Change of employer is no more constraint for drop box eligibility. If you satisfy all other requirements, then you will be eligible for drop box.
