Should I return expried I-94 Card at airport while travelling to Canada for H1B Stamping

Hi,

I will be travelling from USA to Canada for H1B stamping. Should I return my expired I-94 at the airport while leaving from USA or should I hold it.

- I have a valid I-797 with I-94 attached from 2015 to 2017.

- My previous visa stamp on passport and old I-94 attached to passport are expired - my question is should I return the expired I-94 at airport.
