H1B visa stamping at Montreal is allowed?

Hi,

 

Date confirmed for my H1b visa stamping on May29th (First time stamping) at Montreal.

 

But saw some posts where Montreal consulate wont do H1B visas.

 

Should i look for another location ? Or Is Montreal OK?

I think it is best to email the consulate and confirm your eligibility.

Don't forget to mention that you want to apply as Third Country National (TCN) as you are not a citizen or resident of Canada.

I filled up the DS 160 forms using Toronto as the location, but there aren't any appointment dates and planning to make an appointment at Montreal.

 

Let me know if the consulate responded to your query.

would you please tell me if you had any issues with h1 stamping being a third country national? I read some where you can not go for stamping to embassy in Montreal being a third country national. Would you please share your experience? I am travelling tomorrow to Montreal and my appointment is on aug 5 2015.
