surenrockz
Hi Admins/Experienced, I switched employers in 2013, so my new company filed for an extension which was approved until 2016. I have an i-94 attached to my i797 which is valid until 2016. however when i goto CBP website, it still shows my old expired i94 date (Sept 2013). I know i am not out of status as i have a valid i94 until 2016. I am travelling to India in DEC 2014. Now, 1. Do i have to submit my current i-94 (attached to i797) at a local CBP office ? 2. Do i have to submit my old i-94(in my passport) and current i-94 (attached to i797) at the airport before boarding the flight? 3. Upon arrival into US, Will the officer at POE ask for my current i-94 (attached to i797) as the online one shows my old expired i94 date (Sept 2013) ? Please answer Im utterly confused with this whole thing! Thanks in advance. Link to comment

Or Can i just wait until my departure date (Dec 2014) and submit at the airport? Appreciate your prompt response Visit local CBP office and request them to address your query about online expired I94 date. When you depart surrender I94s at airline counter. Link to comment

Ricky27
Hi, You need to go for Visa Stamping on new i797 right? in that case you need not visit any CBP office. Surrender your i94's and when you are returning they will issue new i94 based on your new i797. Link to comment
lostpacket
Hasn't the I-94 become electronic now? Why do you need to submit your I-94 when USCIS has approved your extension of stay until 2016? Link to comment
