Online I-94 on DHS site is not current I-94

I got my extension done recently by my company. I was in US itself and had a physical I-94 from my last entry into the US at the POE. The same was present on the DHS online I-94 site as well.

 

After the extension, I visited DMV to get my license renewed but they informed that my online I-94 on the DHS site is still showing the old, now expired I-94 mentioned above so they can't renew my license until my new I-94 record appears on the DHS site. 

 

Has this happened with anyone else? What needs to be done here? Its been 6 weeks now since my extension, so I don't think it is going to fix itself on its own.
