premas06
I believe the only downside to hiring an attorney who is long-distance is that they may not be able to come in for the interview. So, my question is, in straight-forward cases, how easy or hard is the interview process? Does one really need to be accompanied by an attorney? Please share your experiences. Link to comment
txnetizen
I presume when you mean straight forward cases No history with law enforcement officers and DUI cases Frequent and long visits outside of the country No Tax filing/evasion issues our senior members can add some more here..but I reckon if none of the above apply, you don't need an attorney to accompany you. It's like going to any other job interview..you should know the application form you filled thoroughly Link to comment
itsmeusa
If you are highly confident about your case, you don't need a lawyer. In case of complications, it's better to hire local reputed lawyer. No need to have your GC lawyer who had been handling your case. Link to comment
