H4 to H1 visa transfer under cap exempt in premium processing receipt number not received

Hi,

 

My employer had applied for H4 to H1B visa transfer under cap exempt in Premium Processing in Vermont center, USCIS received the fedex on 09/09/2014, but haven't received the receipt number yet.

I checked with my employer , they said haven't received any reply from USCIS.

Usually it takes 2-3 business days, my case is more than 4 business days as of today.

Please help if anyone had gone through the same (receipt number not received).

Where did you get this information that one gets a receipt within 2-3 business days? I will suggest you to wait for a week.

For all premium processing filing, USCIS sends email receipt almost immediately within 24 hrs of receipt of documents. I never faced issues with getting this receipt from employer / lawyer in last few years.

You have to depend on employer. Unfortunately nothing else can be done.
