punnam25 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 US Visa Service Hotel/Transportation: Salvador, ***********, ***********@hotmail.comhttp://www.*************.com/ASC Appointment Date: Monday, August 25, 2014 13:30 PMSalvador picked us at the Border on Monday Aug 25 at @8AM, early check in 9AM.He took us to the Service Centre at 1PM, waited for us to finish.@ASC: They checked the docs, DS-160 Confirmation, Passport, I797 Approval and VISA Fee transaction no. Got the finger prints and Photo.Consulate Appointment Date: Tuesday, August 26, 2014 10:30 AM@CONSULATE: Salvador took us to the consulate at 10:15 AM and left.1st Checking: Passport , DS-160, I797 approval - gave the TokenNext, Here you see Counters from 6-11 2nd check of docs and 1 to 5 - VO2nd Check : Counter 9 Lady checked the passports both H1/H4, DS-160 and i-797 She confirmed all the passport details, work title and i-797 details for VISA annotation.3rd Check (VO): Lady Q1: Who do you work for? Q2: What do you do? Q3: Do you have any immigration filed? (i.e. Perm LCA or i140) Q4: Do you need to pick the passport today? Obviously yes. VO put a small green sticker to the passport, it says pickup at consulate. Gave the pass to pick up the passports at 3:30 PM at Consulate.Salvador drove us back to Consulate to pick up the passports and drove back to border, here they took some time to verify the details, process was very slower than expected, took 1 hour.
