maomao9615
Hi Murthy, I recently got an offer from company B, which is located in another state. I expect that USCIS will receive all my material on next Wednesday. Assuming the receipt arrives on that day as expected, is it safe to quit my current job in company A right away? I am not in a hurry to start working for company B, I will start only after I receive H1B transfer approval from USCIS. I am in a rush to quit from company A as I need time to move to another state. But I do want to avoid the risk that my H1B transfer gets rejected after I quit from company A. How possible is it? Usually what causes rejection? If that really happens, what are my options? Do you suggest me to quit right after I get receipt (but I won't start working for company B until I get the approval)? Many thanks for your help! Yan Link to comment

Yan If you quit and if new company's H1B gets denied along with current company revoking your H1B petition you will be out of status. In that case you would have to leave US. Ready to take this risk? hightech
Don't worry If the company A revoked H1B you will have 30 days time transfer to company C. Once you have receipt on your hand from company B can start work. Link to comment
