i140 Premium processing, refused by employer

Dear all,

The DOL has certified the application for my Permanent Employment Certification. Now I'm working with the Laywer on the i-140 application.

I wanted to go for the Premium processing and I was ready to pay when my employer informed me that they didn't want me to go with this option (even though I would have been the one paying for the extra fees).

I asked my employer why we could not go with the Premium processing but I got evasive answers only.

Can my employer prevent me from applying for a Premium processing?

The I-140 is the employer's application. If they don't want to go for premium, you can't do anything about it, except finding another employer.
