H1B transfer

Hi Friends

I found a new job and the new company has put on a H1B transfer petition with Premium processing. The receipt number shows 21st Mar. It's been 10 days already but no progress on the case. My new project was supposed to start on Apr 3 but then my new employer moved it to 10th. Considering that I have to give 2 weeks notice, I should put down my papers atleast on Monday, the 3rd. My question is, is it safe to put down my papers and serve 1 week notice and join on April 10th on the new job (or) should I wait since my 15day SLA will be over by Apr 3rd for any response from USCIS? My worry is, even if I wait till Apr 3 for approval, and if I get an RFE, I have to wait atleast couple more weeks but then my new employer will have trouble convincing the customer to wait few more weeks for me. My new employer requested me to join with Receipt notice and I asked time till this weekend to put down my papers.

Hi GV, 

With transfer receipt you can start working with new employer. This is really a rush-hour for premium processing and I hope you will receive positive response in couple of days.
