Canceling visitor visa

Recommended Posts

I had in the past sponsored/provided documentation and letter of support for a visitor visa. The person was granted a multi-entry visa. I would like to now cancel the visa. Is there anything I can do to cancel it? From google searches it is not very clear if there is a procedure or any liability on my side.

If I cannot cancel it, what can I be held accountable/liable for if the person visits the US without our explicit permission?

First, there is no sponsoring for visitor visas.

Second, you can not get it canceled.

Third, a visitor does not need your permission to visit the US. You don't own that person nor that visa.

Even thinking that this would be possible is disgusting.
